Sunday Morning by Arthur Wasse (1854–1930) depicts a tranquil courtyard scene outside a medieval building. A young woman stands on the steps, scattering feed from a basket to a group of vibrant peacocks ascending toward her. Two monks and a little girl sit nearby, watching the gentle exchange. Warm stone walls, climbing plants, and intricate Gothic architectural details frame the scene, evoking a sense of timeless charm and quiet domestic harmony.

 

Frame:

Created from high-quality wood, milled with simple clean lines and presented with a satin finish. Includes an off-white mount that will not discolour or fade with age.
